Daniel Bergkoetter Service Information

Daniel Bergkoetter, 53, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 6, 2023, in Philadelphia. Born on December 16, 1969, in Philadelphia, Daniel was the beloved son of Dean and Dorothy Bergkoetter.

Dan was a kind, funny, and passionate individual who had a zest for life. He had a love for cooking, reading, fishing, music and watching the Phillies, Eagles and Sixers. Dan cherished spending time with his beloved family, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Lucia Pagano, and their two sons, Joseph and Nicholas. He is also survived by his father, Dean Bergkoetter, his mother, Dorothy Bergkoetter, his sisters, Lisa, Mary, Erin Abdallah, and his brother, Michael Bergkoetter.

Dan received his education from St. Martin of Tours for primary school, Central High School and Rutgers University for higher education.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to his alma mater, Central High School's music program or the memorial fund set up for his two sons, Joseph and Nicholas. This fund will ensure that Dan's legacy of love and support for his family continues.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, November 14^th from 6 to 8pm and again on Wednesday, November 15^th from 9:30 to 10:45am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 9304 Old Bustleton Avenue, Phila PA 19115.  His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30am at St. Albert the Great Church.  Interment Forest Hills Cemetery

The loss of Dan Bergkoetter has left a void in the lives of all who knew him and loved him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and passion for living. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
